Do parents need to get in the water?

Only for Parent–Child lessons. All other lessons are instructor-led to help build independence and confidence.

What if my child cries or is afraid?

This is completely normal. I use a patient, step-by-step approach to help children feel safe, comfortable, and confident in the water.

Do you teach water safety?

Yes. Water safety and basic survival skills are a core part of every lesson.

How long does it take to learn?

Every swimmer progresses differently, but most show improvement within just a few lessons with consistent practice.

How often should lessons be scheduled?

I recommend at least once per week for the best progress and skill retention.

Can parents watch lessons?

Yes, but giving children space often helps them focus and gain confidence more quickly.

Do you offer group lessons?

Yes, for swimmers of similar age and skill level. Private lessons are recommended for faster progress.

Do you work with special needs swimmers?

Yes. Lessons are adapted to each swimmer’s individual needs in a supportive environment.

Are you certified?

Yes. I am certified through the YMCA and American Red Cross, and trained in CPR/AED and water safety.

Where are lessons held?

Lessons take place at your home, community pool, or private facility (with permission if required).

What areas do you serve?

I provide mobile swim lessons within my service area. Contact me to confirm your location.

How do payments and cancellations work?

Details are provided during booking. Cancellations with a 24-hour notice can be rescheduled based on availability.

What happens during bad weather?

Lessons are rescheduled if weather conditions are unsafe.

What should we bring?

Swimsuit, towel, optional goggles, and a swim diaper if needed.
